Thank you to the creator of Hip for keeping this app updated and totally usable. It is a great birthday reminder - keeps me very organized and aware of birthdays.

I flipping love this app. Keeping bdays and special dates out of my calendars. Scheduling texts to be sent to the person. I just love it all!!

Reminds me of occasions so that I don’t forget them.

I love this app because it not only reminds me of the birthdays coming up, and lets me personalize everything, but also gives the little balloon reward at the end. I love seeing those balloons celebrate their day and my efforts to remember them. So awesome!

Fantastic interface, intuitive settings…this app makes anyone look great ! I have never ever missed a birthday / anniversary of a friend or family member for years !

Can only add 5 birthdays before they make you pay

It does not say on the App Store that it has any in-app purchases. It does. Please change this

Used this app for years and loved it. Now it won’t let you add new people without upgrading. Some of us have more than five friends whose birthdays we’d like to remember.

I get that companies need to make money but having to pay to add more than FIVE birthdays is kinda crazy.

What a difference this app has made. Before I might have known a birthday but let the date slip by. Sometimes I would have it written down somewhere but forget to look as the day approaches. Now my friends think I’m getting smarter in my old age.

I purchased the full version of Hip a while back and put effort add so many birthdays. At one sudden day I lost my phone and all the data with it. I lost all of the birthdays too. I wish there was an automatic back up or iCloud sync. You would not always remember to go and press the back up button. Please consider this feature Thank you and have a good day.

My hubs uses a version of this app and has for years. He must be grandfathered in somehow. I installed and passed on the paid versions and began entering a few birthdays. Added 5. When I tried to add a 6th, I learned that for the free/ad-supported version, you can only save FIVE birthdays.

The problem is that when you want to make a reminder it will only allow The app won’t go ahead you can just go in the past

I have used this app since since its inception. it is absolutely terrific. Efficient and whenever needed, customer service has always been on top of it. .

You are only able to add 5 events without paying money in a monthly subscription… Do I have to say any more?

You are driving me crazy with the constant push to update. Then you make it very difficult to get to the birthday page. I think I will look for a new app!

Quit trying to upgrade your service to me. I can’t get rid of the star. I’m 86. I don’t need an upgrade.

Mi vida social estaría devastada de no ser por esta aplicación. Mis amigos y familiares me hubieran dejado de hablar hace años. Hoy no tendría a nadie y probablemente estaría cancelado todo el tiempo por haber olvidado cumpleaños y fechas importantes. Sería un paria de la sociedad. Hoy día la única ansiedad que sufro es por las fechas que estoy olvidando por no haberlas anotado en Hip. Sé que alguien me mencionó un cumpleaños que era para este domingo pero no sé de quien… angustia total. Gracias Hip por todo y perdón por tan poco. Eres mejor app que las apps que trae Apple por defecto en el teléfono. Eres lo mejor que me pasó. Si hoy día se me considera una persona civilizada es gracias a ti. No puedo perderte.

App is broken. It used to work fine. Now it won’t let me add any more friends birthdays. It says I need to upgrade to a paid version when I try to to add more. Sigh. Another one bites the dust I guess. It’s also suggesting I pay in order to export them so I can move to an app that works. So I will have to manually add 29 friends birthdays to another app that actually works. Thanks a lot HIP. Maybe should rename your app RIP.

I hope you don’t have more than 4 people in your life! Because if you do then you’ll have to pay to remember their birthdays! I have severe ADD and can’t remember anything for the life of me and this app could’ve been super helpful but because of their pay limit it makes it stupid.

I tried to contact customer service for several weeks, no response to my messages. So I paid for the application for life, but having changed my phone, it is no longer associated with my iCloud account (changed too). So I lost all my data. Unless customer service answers me today?

I’ve used this app for a very long time & it suddenly stopped notifying me of upcoming dates. It is still set to remind me one week before & on the day of but it is only telling me day of and not until later that night which is not helpful! All of my settings are correct and yet this app has decided not to do the one thing it’s designed to do.

You can only have 5 free event reminders. And the subscription is dumb. Better off getting a rolodex like the boomers

Makes you purchase a subscription to do a lot of basic things, such as adding more than 5 reminders.

I was so excited to get this app and started to input birthdays but after 5 birthdays you need to upgrade and pay….Useless, so many free apps out there. Don’t waste your time!

I downloaded this app specifically to notify me of upcoming birthdays. I have notifications enabled on my phone and the app still didn’t notify me of birthdays. I missed several people’s birthdays. Unless there’s another reason for use of this app, I wouldn’t rely on it for the reason I did.

I added only 1 reminder, but I received too many non birthday notifications from the App like promotion, features etc.

It is a great program that I find very useful. It’s a great reminder to friends and family who are having birthdays and they sent a card or a text to.

Every since I updated the app it keeps force closing

I have this application for a long time. Now they are requesting me to update and pay for new version. Otherwise the application is refusing to show me my store birthdates. very bad!

I love this app.! It’s very helpful and reminds me of my families birthday’s and anniversaries and with my brain I need an app. like this that can remind me of theses upcoming events. Thank you for this Hippo app. reminder it is the best I could ever have on my iPhone! Don’t change a thing on this app. I like it just the way it is. 👍🏼👍🏼😊. I just totally love, love this app!!!

Only be using one week. Nicely organized my contact by Birthday month. Set reminder. Great app. This is one of my favorites app. I can sent out birthday wishes fast and conveniently. The yearly fee is so low for the service I receive. Thank you for this app.

Love this app but I hate to pay for something I can write down or there are several apps like this for free. Please reconsider!!!

Wonderful help to manage my 7 children and their spouses birthdays. It is also amazing keeping my 35 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren birthdays straight. I also have my extended family and friends on it.

Make no mistake this app is not free. You can add 5 events as a free user. Didn’t even get through my immediate family. The free tier is useless, but it’s a very clean app so I looked at upgrading. I thought a one time buy of 2-5 bucks would make sense for an app like this. It’s just a date tracker after all. Nope, it’s a subscription??? For an app like this?? Absolutely nuts.
